Anderson’s Inherent Vice. Incredibly excited for this movie, more than any other upcoming film. Also, I love this photo and how it looks like a much more artful picture my Dad snapped in the 70s of his cop friend Carl — a guy who ate blocks of cheese like candy bars.

Working on a job, I had to illustrate ’art’. I didn’t have much time. I began with a silly notion of playing with some sort of recognisable sculptural human figure. The interesting thing was that the more I drew these ideas they became drawings themselves. I ended up feeling like an artist. Like always….
